Yeah! you made it! I love the huts....it's almost like my new apartment! haha. I am so thankful you made it....sounds like a good start to a great adventure. Trinity misses you already! Love you guys! Aubs
Joe and Ashley, was great to hear from you and how you are already loving it!! ONLY you and Ashley could make going to Africa, living in a hut with a dirt floor, mesqueito(sp)net, no furniture, no electricity,no running water,100degree temps and eating millet 3 times a day look like you are "Living the Dream" and making everyone else jealous!! we LOVE you and will be in our Prayers always! love, mom and dad

Can you believe it? You are in Mali!!!! Yea for you!!!!!!!! And, BTW, that is the nicest mud hut I have ever seen. It has more sunlight than your basement apartment near Eastern market. :) Love you tons!!!!!!! And, after andy and I just spent all day cleaning our "big" American home and straightening all of our "Stuff", the simple life is looking kind of nice. Love ya- T
Hi Ashley & Joe, I'm sure you are wondering what I am doing sending you several messages that say just "hi" This will give you a little laugh, I forgot my password to send to your blog, so I set it up myself, so it shows how computer smart I am. I couldn't see if it actually went thru, so I kept checking so I'm sure you will forgive me. We got back to the Rio Grande Valley Sat. It's about as hot here as it is in Mali--98o-- I like your little mud hut, it wouldn't be hard to keep clean, I guess, but I would have to have air conditioning at night. I am so glad we got to spend the fun full packed weekend with you even though it was hard to see you leave. I will write again soon. We want you to stay safe, enjoy all the new friends you have met.
