  1. Hi Ashley and Joe,
as you notice i am testing again, i keep forgetting my password, what does that mean, i hope too many differnt passwords. i should use the same one on all of them snapfish included.
i was so angry. i had written a big letter to you saturday and then lost it because of my password.
so much for that i have been following your blog faithfully. you both look like you are happy. that is my first thought, which is great----but your living quarters are something else. I can't imagine little ashley washing clothes in a tub or lake. then not having a nice napkin to clean her silver before she eats--but maybe it is cleaner eating without silver. if anyone can handle that kind of living i guess i would say, it would be you two.
we were in hurricane "dolly" just before we came back to iowa last week. that wasn't really fun either, we had 10plus inches of rain and 95 mile hr. wind. padre island had terrible damage. the expressway was closed for 5 days from about 20 miles from us.
we went to the moville fair 2 nights last week-big time.
we left mon. and went to pierre s.d. and then right through sturgis.we have never seen so many motorcycles in one place then we went on to wyo. to look at coal mines & mining processes.
i think of you alot and pray for you and joe every night and i know it is all "God's" plan that you two are where you are & not complaining, i just hope you are always safe and happy.
    love you both

  5. Joe - that picture of you reading reminds me of Sugar Knob - except it was super cold, instead of hot. and that we were in America. but other than that - exactly the same!

  6. Hi Ashley and Joe,

I enjoy looking at all the pictures. I still can't get used to the idea you are in Africa for two years. Looking at the pictures it looks like you are still enjoying your time. The families you both are staying with seem friendly. You both still look cool and hip like always. I just went to my last lamaze class and we were shown around. Sara, who taught the class took us up stairs and we got to see the rooms we will stay in. We actually stay in those rooms during labor. I thought they took us to a diff. room for that. After all this is over with I hope my fear of hospitals won't be so bad.

    Stay healthy
    Love Ben,Body and Baby B.
