Berlin in a day and now in Parieee

Okay, so Joe and I both know that Berlin deserves more than one day but that is all we had before our host expected us in Paris. Although we were only there for a day we felt like we made the most of it. We did a three and a half walking tour, it was free too!!!!!!! Then we managed to see the town on our own. Here are a few of the neat sites we saw: Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, Holocaust Memorial-this is my fav site so far on the trip, Hitlers Bunker where he commited suicide, Parliment-which was super sweet bc it was built when the wall fell and west and east Germany joined together, and many ww2 historical sites. Oh and we stayed at a clean and cool hostel....brownie points for joe.

Pictures to come.....

  1. Berlin, sounds like a lot of interesting historical stuff. I need more info then just names of sites, what made the Holocaust museum your favorite? Huh? Come on work with me here! I am talking to mom on the phone right now and she told me to tell you that she still hasn't figured out how to post comments, but that she loves you to the mooon and back (orignal, I know). The weekend was great with Adam he is officially in love, so we'll see how this whole things plays out. The rafting trip, only half the people showed up that signed up, but it was still alot of fun. Tempe this weekend had their own little octoberfest, which made me think of you guys and that you should try to get in on that in Germany while your there. I am also volunteering at a non-profit called the Lost Boys of Sudan, that helps refugees from Sudan get acquainted in Arizona (i might of already told you this). Alright I think that is about everything that is going on in this side of things, I love you guys and take care!!!!!!!!
